Tell your human to help us keep our beach! More paws, more fun, more wagging—it’s up to you, two-leggers!

Dog should get to have fun
Meeting Date:There is a big human meeting scheduled for January 28th, but we don’t know yet if our beach will be discussed. Make sure your human signs up to get a heads-up once the agenda is out—so they can help keep our paws in the sand! 🐾

Why

Why do we want our dog beach

Our dog beach is a gem for wagging tails and happy humans—it shouldn’t get buried just because a few loud humans won’t stop barking!

Community

Our beach is where our humans get to meet other humans while we sniff, splash, and play. They call it 'community,' but really, it’s just making friends like we do!

Exercise

Humans need to stretch their legs too, not just us! The beach gets them running, throwing sticks, and staying active while we lead the way.

Safety

It’s better for humans when we have our own splashy spot—they don’t have to worry about us getting tangled up with swimmers at those other beaches.

Mental Health

Humans feel better when they’re around us—science says so! A day at the beach with us? Stress gone, smiles on!

Local Economy

Our beach helps the human world, too. After a fun day with us, they wander into town for food or shopping. They call it ‘supporting local’—we just call it snack time!

Joy

Nothing makes humans happier than seeing us having fun. You should see their faces when we’re splashing and wagging—it’s like they catch our happiness!

Step 1: Get Your Human to Bark at the Right People

Tell your human to email or call the City Council humans and say they love the dog beach as much as we do!

Step 2: Sign Up for Treats (I Mean, Updates)

Make sure your human signs up for notifications so they know when the big meeting about our beach is happening!

Step 3: Share Your Best Tail-Wagging Story

Tell your human why you love the beach and have them share it. The Council and the Mayor need to know how much joy we bring!

Step 4: Drag Your Human to a Meeting

If your human can go, take them* to the big City Council meeting so they can bark for us and help keep the beach ours!

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Did We Build This Site?

Because some humans just won’t stop barking about closing our beach! We’re tired of their loud howls wasting the City Council’s time when most of the community loves this place. Let’s help our humans focus on more useful stuff at their meetings—like more treats and belly rubs!

Who Is My Human?

My human has lived in White Bear Lake for over three years and walks by our beach at least four times a week. They see how much joy it brings to all of us fur-friends and wants to keep it that way!
